Programmatic access to Configuration definition

For generating documentation out of configuration objects programmatic access to the configurations would be desirable. The new API would take a KClass configuration class and return the defined properties (their path, type, optional, possibly documentation if #417 is added).

If there is interest in this feature I can work on it given some pointers.
