The italic ampersand is hard to recognize. Can you make it more recognizable?

The italic ampersand in crimson you can find in the font Inknut Antiqua. It's not uncommon to see it in older (pre-1900s) books. People don't mind if their punctuation marks lack italic forms, the default ampersand already looks italic in Crimson and Times New Roman. You can use it without italic-ing to get the standard look.

I am not sure if there are any plans to make changes to this font anymore. Check out https://github.com/Fonthausen/CrimsonPro
