The latin small v and w have a large apparent weight as compared to the other characters, probably because it is at the same angle as the stress and has the thickness of bowls (e.g. of a,c) at their thickest throughout the entire length of the stroke of v, w. Propose reducing thickness of diagonal strokes in v,w to slightly thicker than that of the vertical stems (e.g. of h,j,i,k,l).
