Hello everyone,
I arrived at this page thanks to Sergio Santamaría from the University of José C. Paz (Buenos Aires, Argentina).
First, let me introduce myself:
I am Alberto Moyano, I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I own a small scientific publishing house (https://www.edicionesimagomundi.com/), with a strong focus on social sciences (History and Sociology), and I have been working with Linux and LaTeX since 1993. I am not a programmer; I have learned empirically. My studies are in proofreading and editing (UNLP), and I am also a graphic designer - I owned a printing press for over 15 years.
Now, I would like to inform you:
I adhere to the single-source publishing model and have been developing software for some time now (licensed under GPL3) - gbTeXpublisher (https://gitlab.com/alberto.alejandro.moyano/gbtexpublisher). It is designed with the logic of a publisher, not an author.
While the application is still in development, I use gbTeXpublisher daily for my production - the part that is already finished. In the following link (https://albertomoyano.github.io/blog-gbtexpublisher/post/gbtex/), there is an introductory article (it's a bit old, but it shows the main features of the application). In the same blog (https://albertomoyano.github.io/blog-gbtexpublisher/), there are more articles.
I have recently started venturing into the realm of academic journals; my main experience lies in books.
I'm leaving the link to 3 videos (actually, they are 3 parts of a whole) showing the application. They are in neutral Spanish, but I believe YouTube subtitles suffice for those who don't understand Spanish.

I'm also leaving the link to download the files I used in the video.

Development status in percentage of progress:
I hope, from my humble position, to contribute something and learn from the knowledge of other participants.
