Yes, you'll be able to access your files this way. Even with bitlocker, if you have your recovery keys you'll be able to access your files. |

With my ignorance I have ran this program not looking at the README.md
resulting in being locked out and unable to login to my desktop such as the person below:

However, I have found a solution for those who have made this mistake
if you haven't enabled bit locker drive encryption on your windows installation prior to running this
you may be able to recover your files from the drive (or possibly even revert the changes) [speculation]
How to recover files:
Shutdown your computer, and remove your drive
plugin the drive into another computer either directly
with SATA or NVME or use a USB adapter
open Disk Management in windows and select the drive,
because the drive is unencrypted you'll still be able to
access your files in file explorer
Alternatively you can plugin a bootable Linux install USB
and use the environment to view / edit your files.
