Crash when importing contacts or attempting to start a new conversation

Bug description

After updating to 7.4, signal hard crashes on launch, no debug prompt just crashes. I was perplexed and reinstalled the app which initially was working on setup before crashing after finishing setup. After experimenting with app permissions, I have narrowed down the issue to signals access to contacts and more specifically when attempting to start a new conversation, typing any letter into the new message search box will also cause the hard crash

Steps to reproduce

Start with: Iphone XS, latest signal and latest IOS version

Attempt to import contacts or start a new conversation after disabling contact access

Hard crash.

Actual result: Hard crash

Expected result: The app should not crash and I should live happily ever after
