Bug description

When changing the orientation of the screen during voice message playback, the playback stops.

Bug history

This bug has been reported before in #5404 , and is likely related to #4359 and #4607. All three of those were supposedly solved in v5.47, but it seems this issue has returned. In fact, #4359 and #4607 have a successor issue as well, #5692, which again I assume is related to this one.

Steps to reproduce

  • play a voice message
  • rotate your screen orientation

Actual result: The playback stops.

Expected result: The playback should continue normally until the end of the message.

Hi, @nehemiagurl

We are aware of the problem and we are currently looking for a solution. Although our engineers are working on a fix, unfortunately I can't give a specific schedule for resolution.

Thanks again for your help in reporting this!
