Bug description

I noticed that the UI doesn't get updated as expected after rapid changes in the ConversationFragment lifecycle.

Steps to reproduce

  • Open the chat
  • Lock the microphone recording
  • Lock the phone screen
  • Unlock the phone screen
  • Notice that the send button is missing. It doesn't happen every time, but it does in most cases.

Actual result: The UI doesn't get updated as expected.
Expected result: The Send button should be visible.
