Hi Rachel!

Thanks for volunteering. Interviews are a pretty simple process: you fill out the template on the site (diagnosis/medication/challenges/strategies) with as much or as little information as you like. You also supply a brief (one to two line) bio, which will be used under your name to explain who you are. Feel free to include links! Next, if you have a social media (facebook/twitter/app.net/google+) account you'd like linked to this interview (see the footer of most our interviews for a sample), just let me know what it is. Finally, we just need the picture you want displayed next to your interview. The larger the resolution, the better.

Once you have that information, send it to me. You can do that by replying below, by opening a pull request, or if you'd like a little more privacy, by emailing me at paddy@secondbit.org.

Once I have the interview, I'll put it into the template and take some screenshots, then reply to you with the screenshots. You can make any alterations you like, and once you give the final ok, I'll publish.

My primary concern in this is to keep interviewees comfortable and feeling safe. You never need to offer more information than you feel comfortable sharing. If you want to omit an entire section, feel free. If you want to modify your interview or have it taken down after publishing, just let me know, and I'll do that as soon as I can for you. This is totally your show, I'm just here to help out.

That being said, the moment you put your information on the publicly available internet (Github, for example), I may not always be able to recall it for you. Caches, screenshots, etc. may continue to have your information after I pull it down. I'll do my best to remove everything in my power, but if you're worried about it, please email me instead of posting it here. Anything that is emailed to me will not leave my personal inbox or my local hard drive until you give me the okay to publish it.

Sound good?

Hugs,
Paddy

Hi Paddy,

Sounds pretty good to me. Sorry for the delay, I am hugely behind on github notifications.

Hey @didlix, I'm totally not trying to rush you or anything. :) I just want to make sure you're not waiting on me for anything. Anything I can help with?

Hugs,
Paddy

Hey Paddy,
I think this was meant for someone else. :)

@ILOVETHEHAWK err... this is a comment on @didlix's issue...? Think there may be some confusion about Github email notifications, because you're subscribed to the repo.

Hugs,
Paddy

Ugh, you're right. It's 5am and I'm being useless.
