Issue description
This package used with Angular 2 Ahead Of Time compilation makes build crash.

Steps to reproduce and a minimal demo of the problem
make new angular-cli project
install and import this package
run ng serve --aot

What steps should we try in your demo to see the problem?

angular2 & angular2-google-maps version
angular 2.0.0
angular-cli 1.0.0-beta.17
angular2-google-maps 0.15.0
