lnf only opens on NISER-AP

This makes it very limited. The lost and found items demands ease of reach to people across NISER and the lnf being host only on NISER intranet makes it reachable only in specific areas. Yet I would very much support using the lnf portal rather than spamming, but this is one of the things that I feel must be addressed. If you could make the portal open similar to NISER Canteen Menu that would be great.

And also, adding a link to LnF in the canteen menu (as a header to go to another page or footer or at the bottom of the menu) would be a great feature. As the canteen menu and LnF portals are specifically made for students, it would very much make sense if they are accessible from say a "NISER Student Utility" website. Even without that, just try adding links to each other on both sites.

I believe the above edits would facilitate the students to use it regularly so that the site becomes mainstream.

I do consider SDG website as NISER student utility website, try to make it more intertwined and popular by adding links or menu tabs.
