SDDM background wallpaper is sometimes only displayed on half of the screen with the other half turning black

The title describes the issue, however, I cannot trigger it as this seems to happen randomly at times. I have a background setting that flips through a set of wallpapers at a fixed interval. Another thing to note is that I have a dual screen setup and am using Wayland with Plasma.
