We use the following repository during sprints: https://github.com/scikit-learn-inria-fondation/EuroSciPy22 This could be useful. |

I'm relatively new to GitHub and made a mistake in my pull request. I forked the repository, cloned it, and made my changes. Unfortunately, I made a rookie mistake and didn't create a dedicated branch for my changes. Instead, I worked directly on the main branch and ended up creating a pull request from there.
I got to know that this isn't the ideal workflow. Could anyone offer some advice on how best to proceed? Should I reapply my changes to a new branch and create a fresh pull request? Or are there any other options I might not be aware of?
I've attached the link to my pull request for reference: (#28005).
