Updating files in the background

If a file (for example the 'Strategy.md') is open in DocDown and I edit it in another program, the changes from the other program are only visible in DocDown when I close and reopen the file there.
It would be nice if DocDown could check in the background if the file was changed elsewhere while it is open.
