Hello
Thanks for your program.
Could you please make exe file fping version 4
Or how i can make it? ( Right now i use fpinf.exe v 3 and have some problem with response. If i use ping x.x.x.x - work ok if fping.exe x.x.x.x - i have only first reply , three others - timeout error )

Having a v4 for Windows 7 and up would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for such a useful program!

For anybody who comes here from a search: there is an FPING for Windows which I think is unrelated to this project. The last version (it seems to be discontinued) is 3.0, from 2012; it works fine in Windows 10.
Discussion of and link to FPING 3.0 for Windows

fping 8.8.8.8 -t 5000 -c -T -D -L C:\TMP\pinglog.txt
pings Google (8.8.8.8) every 5 seconds and sends the following both to standard output and pinglog.txt:
2018/04/02 20:40:58.267 : Reply[31] from 8.8.8.8: bytes=32 time=19.7 ms TTL=59

There are many other options.

Well I am feeling a little lazy today, just wondering if I could just compile the fping v4.2 source from david's github into an exe or are there any differences between windows and linux networking that would make a simple direct compile of the source code incompatible with windows?. Any support and assistance would be highly appreciated!

Thank you.

Could you be so kind to generate .exe for the rest of us who are mere Windows users w/o compiler?

I try to make the Windows version of fping ,but it failed。

It indicates that < sys / socket. h > is missing, adding < sys / socket. H > of Linux will report other errors。

The source code of socket. h or socket. h of windows was not found。

I hope you can a version of windows。
Thank you very much!

In case it helps someone, there are many Docker images. The most popular seems to be this.

It seems so complex to me 😓
