Working configuration:

  • Java Oracle 17.0.8, manually installed
  • macOS 10.13 in virtual box in x86 arch

Process:

  • Fresh installation of macOS 10.13 in a VirtualBox
  • Manual installation of JDK 17 from Oracle
  • Copy of the product (.tar.gz file) from a local network folder on the macOS desktop
  • Double click on the .tar.gz file to extract the application (the app with the SARL icon should appear on the macOS desktop)
  • Double lick on the SARL app icon.

Quick update.
Downloading the file using Firefox and Safari reports the file as "damaged".
However, when using "wget" it works find.
I'll keep working on it.

I have downloaded the Intel macOS product from the SARL website with Chromium (on Linux box). I did not see any difference with my previous message. SARL is starting correctly.
