Describe the bug
When selecting my current audio output device in the setting tab "[Errno -9998] Invalid number of channels" is displayed.

The audio device is a 2 channel output from an ESI Juli@ XTe currently used by foobar2000 to play a track.

To Reproduce

  1. Go to File > settings
  2. Select the Audio Input Source
  3. Click OK
  4. Error message "[Errno -9998] Invalid number of channels" is displayed

Expected behavior
Music device is selected and LIFX apparels reacts to music played through the selected audio device.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • Lifx-Control-Panel Version: [1.7.6]
  • OS: [eWindows 10]

Please attach your logfile (lifx-control-panel.log)
Apparently no useful log in the log about this, still provided for reference.

@fneuf
How far as I know PyAudio can't record the output directly. Possible workaround is to use loopback input device which may be featured by audio driver or can be achieved via third-party software like Virtual Audio Cable.
