Pixel launcher can't find the background app with either pixel or aosp on Lineage 20, error "App is not installed".

It's the error message when trying to open "Background", pixel launcher can't find any app to configure background on LineageOS.

Sorry I'm late but you need a Photos app, for example Google Photos or SimpleMobileTools Gallery

Google Photos is installed, same thing.

He probably means wallpaper app. No app to change wallpaper when long pressing empty space in launcher and selecting wallpaper & style button

The exact package name of the wallpaper app you need is com.google.android.apps.wallpaper
