color for terminal emulator should lighter or darker than file editor panels

So I see this right now:

It's hard to read the red-colored Git output in the terminal. My desire would be for the terminal emulator color to be either lighter or darker than the file editor color.

Terminal colors aren't really controlled by FairyFloss theme and so they have to be readable on the purple bg color. So that purple bg color should be either darker or lighter to accommodate that.
