Very Slow Loading Notes

Motivation

I have a Samsung Tab S7 using version 0.23.0.

I'm not sure if I am just noticing this, but the loading of notes in the app is quite slow. I have a 36 page note, each page about 50% full with handwriting. The note takes from 20-24 sec to open, even after force stopping and reopening the app. Testing on a small 7 page note time is still ~10 sec.

I only use my tablet for notes so I'm fairly certain it is not the source of the issues.

Solution

It would be nice to have note loading on par with other applications. Samsung notes only takes a fraction of a second to open. Even a few seconds would be fine, but half a minute really throws off the usability of the app and forces users to break up large notes because the file would take too long to open otherwise.

This seems to be a bug instead of a feature. I did not encounter this in earlier versions (e.g. last year, and notes were also binary instead of plain text): the notes openned immediately instead of being blank for several seconds. All my notes are handwritten, so it might have nothing to do with imported images.
