Performance issues with big sheets

Describe the bug
I am noticing a major performance issue when copy-pasting a formula in multiple cells. The experiment was done in a sheet with 10000 rows x 25 columns and the formulae copied were each of the form (ax +b), where a and b are constants and x is another cell in the table.

I measured the time taken vs rows -

Is there any workaround for this? @zyc9012
