Bug description

When I press emoji picker's default keystroke Strg + Shift + . Awesome Emoji Picker won't open.
Instead the Firefox Multi Account Container window opens up.

Steps to reproduce

Install both add-ons :
https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/multi-account-containers/
https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/awesome-emoji-picker/

Press Ctrl + Shift + .

Possible solution

Probably it's an upstream issue.

Thanks for the report. Yeah, indeed I know this has happened to me in the past, too. Unfortunately I cannot reproduce it currently (on Linux/GNOME with Firefox 83), however.

Note: Next time, please fill out the system information in the template. Especially in such a case the bug/behavior may vary by system.

Also the other Mozilla add-on may be interested about that, too: https://github.com/mozilla/multi-account-containers/issues
So feel free to open/copy the bug report there, too. 😃

Also mozilla/multi-account-containers#1814 may be related, but as far as I read, this is not about the hot ke of this add-ona nd conflicts with add-ons, but with the same internal Firefox hotkey's. Which would then just display an error message in about:add-ons.
