Rename multiple layers with a data source (i.e. JSON or CSV)

I need some way to rename 1.7K layers using a data source such as a JSON or CSV file. It seems there is no Sketch plugin anywhere that is capable of doing this. I find this quite strange given the disciplines of UI and UX Design moving increasingly towards the role of Design System Management. So, while is is not as much an issue as it is a feature request, I think many a designer would find it valuable.

In user story format, as a Design System Manager I need the ability to rename hundreds or thousands of layers from a data source such as a JSON file or CSV so that I can keep the enterprise design system I manage organized.
