Give possible characters as an argument like Generate Random String chars=abcde123. This ought to work also with Arabic letters, but you then need to specify them explicitly.
Use special markers like Generate Randon String [LETTERS]. This only supports ASCII characters a-z.
The support for Arabic and other scripts could be enhanced by adding new special markers. For example, we could support Unicode character groups so that you could use [ARABIC]. Do you think this would be useful? Are you interested to contribute?
Thanks for your reply.
Regarding point #1 then I can write in my code Generate Random String chars=سنينصيلاأبتثحجخدهع
is this will work or I should add space between each character as you can see arabic letters are tied to each other.
Sure it will be a great addition to the library having string generation using arabic letters as we are working for automating many gulf applications which are written in arabic.
Regarding my contribution unfortunately I'm new to python and robot framework but I'm here to support if I can.
can I use "Generate Random String" method under string library to generate arabic text and how I can do that?
