Automatic wrapping on source code examples is often detrimental to readability. I'd prefer to see overflow: scroll for embedded source code examples.

It's often possible to format e.g. JavaScript examples in a way that avoids overflow, but it's harder to do when dealing with extremely verbose languages or APIs. The formatting of the Swift examples in the recent APNS blog post are a particularly ugly case:
