This may be some sort of fluke result, but...

This sentence is part of a paragraph in quotation marks:

  • FACT, DSI 27A5260-2760, copyrighted 1960 by Minneapolis-Honeywell."
    It is flagged by RedPen as:
    CommaNumber: The number of commas (13) exceeds the maximum of 3.

The previous sentence in the paragraph has 2 commas and is not flagged.
The sentence before that has 5 commas and is correctly flagged.
On closer inspection, it seems that RedPen is counting all commas (there are 13) in the entire quoted paragraph and flagging them for the last sentence.
