Hi, this is more of a curiosity question than an issue: are there any thoughts to convert the dynamic data collection mechanisms (e.g. diskdevstat et al.) to using EBPF instead of Systemtap overtime?
I'm not sure that would solve my initial problems (stp file compilation failure) which are likely due to kernel version changes (which bpftrace seems likely sensitive to as well), but it seems like a lot of momentum is going towards EBPF vs. Systemtap these days and I think might avoid the need for very large kernel debug symbol packages to be installed. Thoughts?
Thanks!
