Sometimes, we might want to show a Bible verse in between the songs. Although copying and pasting the verse manually is possible, it is more elegant if Cantara provides a feature where the user can select the Bible verse within the app and parse it in the slide easily.
Below is a suggestion of the left panel for the user to choose. UI idea is taken from alkitab.app

Thank you for submitting the idea of selecting and presenting Bible verses in Cantara! The general roadmap of the project is to include other presentation types in the version 3.0 which is planned for the end of this year or the beginning of 2025.
Till now, I am still thinking (and this can be an open discussion) whether we should implement a Bible reader inside Cantara or make use of already existing ones. There could be three different directions in which the project could in this matter:
Bible translations, chapters and verses can be imported, selected and presented inside Cantara. This would take the most developing effort but would surely be user friendly.
Users can create simple custom presentations with any text and in this way also include and present Bible verses. But Cantara would be content-agnostic and not handle Bible quotations in a special way.
Cantara would make use of a third party program such as Unbound Bible to handle Bible translations and the selection/search of content. This would be surely the most efficient way as the "wheel would not be needed to be invented again".
