I can't find and don't understand why when I make a backup with rear my restore always tells me "backup archive.....not readable"!!!
my filesystem does not allow me to have large files so I use the "ISO_MAX_SIZE" function and the tar.gz is splited but does not work.
I did a test with a small centos which enters my filesystem and the restore works,,
but my linux mint which weighs 25 GB (3x in tar.gz (like tar.gz.00,tar.gz.01,tar .gz.02) restore does not work
