What is the purpose of this sensor?
Pedometer sensor is used to calculate the physical activity of the user like step count

Is it supported on both iOS and Android?
Yes
Is there a way to test this sensor without a real device?
No

Would you be willing to respond to issues / PRs for this sensor?
