Web pages opening with auth when keycloak is down

Hello. I am trying to use react-keycloak in my personal project. The following is part of my app.tsx:

the keyloak instance passed to authClient comes from this :

This works fine when my keycloak container is up and running on localhost:8000. but when that container is down, my react home page opens up (unauthenticated of course). Now I understand authentication will not be possible in this case since Keycloak itself is down. But can I at least fail there and show an error page instead of showing the page?
