This GitHub repository contains the client-side code for a URL Minifier application. The application allows users to minify long URLs into shorter ones, making it easier to share them on social media or other platforms with character limitations.
This client-side application is built using Vanilla HTML, CSS, JavaScript and follows best practices in web development, including responsive design and accessibility.

- Go to the official Node.js website: https://nodejs.org
- Click on the "Download" button for the recommended version
- Run the installer and follow the setup wizard to install Node.js on your computer
Open your command prompt or terminal
Run the following command:
npm install -g http-server
This command will install http-server globally on your computer
How to Run http-server Navigate to the directory of your project in your command prompt or terminal Run the following command: sh Copy code http-server This command will start the http-server and host your project at http://localhost:8080 (by default)
You can now visit http://localhost:8080 in your web browser to view your project.
Once the application is running, you can enter your long URL in the input field and click the "Minify" button to generate a shorter URL. You can then copy the generated URL to your clipboard and use it as needed.
