rio cli for rio merge is missing the --method attribute

Expected behavior and actual behavior.

The rio cli version for the rio merge is missing the attribute --method mentioned in documentation (latest) and also in the code

Need that --method else it always defaults to first via rio merge

Steps to reproduce the problem.

• Try rio merge with --method and it will throw an error

  • rio merge --method last
  • 

• Help also don't show --method in rio merge

  Usage: rio merge [OPTIONS] INPUTS... OUTPUT
  
    Copy valid pixels from input files to an output file.
  
    All files must have the same number of bands, data type, and coordinate
    reference system.
  
    Input files are merged in their listed order using the reverse painter's
    algorithm. If the output file exists, its values will be overwritten by
    input values.
  
    Geospatial bounds and resolution of a new output file in the units of the
    input file coordinate reference system may be provided and are otherwise
    taken from the first input file.
  
    Note: --res changed from 2 parameters in 0.25.

    --precision INTEGER             Unused, deprecated, and will be removed in
                                    2.0.0.

                                    documentation for the selected output driver

Installation Method

Installed via git to compile via the specific gdal version.

pip install git+https://github.com/mapbox/rasterio.git@1.3.9

Is that behavior of rasterio cli is expected or this is a bug ? Wondering as no one has looked at this issue since a month

@aafaque33 The "latest" documentation reflects the state of the main branch, will won't be released until 1.4.0. The --merge option was added in #2723.
