If I understand correctly, a new version would be the clean way to build a new conda package to support GDAL 3.8: conda-forge/rasterio-feedstock#287 Is there a timeline for a new version of rasterio? Regards, |

Dear @theroggy I don't think there is timeline for new rasterio version. I don't think the project has usually made new releases based on GDAL releases. If you do need rasterio+gdal3.8 you can install rasterio from source |

discussionbecause it's not related to any bug in rasterio.I don't think there is timeline for new rasterio version. I don't think the project has usually made new releases based on GDAL releases. If you do need rasterio+gdal3.8 you can install rasterio from source
python -m pip install rasterio --no-binary rasterio(meaning that you have already install GDAL sources in your environment)
