[FEA] RAFT ANN Benchmarks Issue Tracker

This thread tracks issues related to the RAFT ANN Benchmarks. For example, error checking and reporting could be improved. When resources free up we can tackle all of these at once.

Right now there aren’t any default config files for the faiss cpu algos so it’ll just do nothing. It should be printing an error like “I know this algorithm exists but I don’t have any default config files for it”

I downloaded the wiki_all_1M dataset and put it into the dataset folder, but they system couldn't find it. The resulting message was:

downloading http://ann-benchmarks.com/wiki_all.hdf5 -> /data/benchmarks/datasets/wiki_all.hdf5...
Cannot download http://ann-benchmarks.com/wiki_all.hdf5

I expected to get a message saying that the dataset couldn't be found. Not that the dataset couldn't be downloaded.
