Feature Request

What problem does it solve?

coming from a plain text file with 10 to 12px text height the sleek is using quite a lot of vertical space for design reasons (i assume). i already set the zoom to the lowest level but still the space between the "tags" and the horizontal lines is rather big.

How does the user interface change to accommodate this request?

adding a setting to configure the line height / density would be awesome. maybe even add a setting to hide the horizontal lines

Hi @c33s. If you know your way around CSS, you can adjust the styling to your needs. It is documented here: https://github.com/ransome1/sleek/wiki/Custom-CSS

Let me know if it doesn't work as expected.

thanks for your feedback. this is very helpful.

would you consider shipping 2 or 3 default themes so a non-css user can still easily switch between a more narrow design?

@c33s I am absolutely not against it. I think the impediment here is currently my low capacity.

In sleek 1.x, but not yet re-implemented in 2.x, we had a compact mode for users who prefer the interface more tiny and narrow. And there is at least another feature request asking for similar changes.

All I can say right now is, that some kind of compact mode (not multiple themes) is on the roadmap, but I cannot say when this will be available :/
