I think its common for the GPT models to think of themselves as GPT-3, perhaps because the model itself isn't trained on information after when these two models were developed, and GPT-3 was the last developed model before these were released

The selected model probably is GPT-4, it might just be hallucinating

Maybe, but if you use an actual API, he's definitely answering that question.

The official GPT-4-32k on Azure OpenAI responds the same way. The reason for this, @Danish-H has already answered.
