Multiple Duplicate Answers

Is there any specific reason to have multiple duplicate answers for a question in the data such as answers of the first question for Computational_complexity_theory paragraph in the squadv2 dev set?

I suspect it's due to the "Additional answers collection" they refer to on page 4 of the original paper: https://arxiv.org/pdf/1606.05250.pdf

To get an indication of human performance on SQuAD and to make our evaluation more robust, we obtained at least 2 additional answers for each question in the development and test sets
