Mac OS Ventura 13.6.3 / NeoVim 0.95 via MacPorts / VimR 0.46.1

In Settings > Tools I unchecked everything but it has made no difference to what I see, ie. 2 ugly sidebars. When I restart VimR all the Tools options are ticked again so nothing was saved.

Is it possible to disable the 2 sidebars completely? It's about a year since I used VimR and I remember the interface being much cleaner. I'm also not keen on seeing a tab when I only have one file open.

I've also struggled with it, after many tries even my self don't know now I make it remember the uncheck settings.

However, after a fresh install, the Tools still remain unchecked, but the Shortcuts of Tools can't be saved if I clear the shortcut.

I have to use a workaround by set them to a very complex and never used shortcut.
