If the user pastes the mention query after the @ sign, search does fire but it doesn't correctly pass the text on to the query. In other words, in the demo here if you type @ and then paste "ella" ... it doesn't highlight Ella Cochran.
I have exactly the same issue. When loading email templates with @ character, and the text containing a mention, it does not assign it as a mention.
Any thoughts?
