Any improved support for core Qiskit functionality, or demonstration/example code that can be included to demonstrate interesting uses of qiskit-ionq.

This issue has been given a bounty as part of unitaryhack 2022. A PR closing the issue by a unitary hack participant will result in a cash prize!

Feel free to comment on this issue to discuss approach and solutions, or find us on the Qiskit Slack at #partners-ionq.

Note: this is a bit of a catchall issue; are happy to accept multiple submissions against this issue/bounty

Hi @Cynocracy
I would like to work on this issue. Can you please provide me with some resources to start working on it?

Hi @RamAIbot

This issue is meant to be a bit of a placeholder for any improvements to functionality or demonstrations/examples of qiskit_ionq that we want to reward!

If you have a particular idea, feel free to comment here and we can let you know if that matches our criteria, if you want to jump in on a ticket that is more narrowly scoped, I'd recommend #91 or #90 which are a bit more concretely defined at the moment.

Thanks for contributing!
