Suggestion

Torrent categories are a very handy feature, but when adding dozens of torrents a day, it's a chore to set the torrent to the right category every time. Offline file downloaders (not torrenters) can automatically categorize files based on file type and/or address/website where the file is being downloaded from. Is it possible to attach something similar to a torrent client?

Use case

When adding a torrent, the client could skim through filenames and extensions, and categorize the torrent based on that. For example, if there are only video files in the torrent, then assign the category "video".

In addition, as far as I understand, the torrent tracker fits into the torrent files from where the torrent file was downloaded, sometimes a link to the page with the distribution is added to the comment. This can also serve as the basis for automatic categorization of torrents by torrent trackers.

Sometimes, when not a single file is distributed, but a folder with files, there may be some keywords in the name of this folder. For example (music), or *.exe files are present in the distribution. According to these features, a torrent can be classified as music or programs / games.

But even all of the above may not be enough to accurately determine the category of a torrent. Therefore, if, when adding a torrent, it falls under several created categories according to the criteria, then only suitable categories should be displayed in the list of categories. The rest are either hidden or displayed below.

Extra info/examples/attachments

I tried to find ready-made solutions. And I was able to google the AutoCat plugin for (AZUREUS) VUZE torrent client. But I didn’t like the torrent client itself, the interface is terrible. There are a lot of different settings and downloadable plugins, but with a light interface it is unpleasant to use. So I haven't even started testing the AutoCat plugin...
