Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
numpy 1.24 has dropped support for chained indices. pandas dropped this a while ago too.

Describe the solution you'd like
Deprecate and drop support at the pysat level.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Maintain a feature that supporting packages are dropping indefinitely.
