Team Updates

  • Calendar: Nothing new
  • Social media requests: Nothing new → who has access to the social media requests
  • Email requests: Nothing new
  • Blog updates: Nothing new
  • Project board updates: Nothing new

Discussions:

  • Social Media manager platform → Needs @kittylon review

  • Invite more women to be part of the team as content creators, so we can have posts from PyLadies (and not only share from other groups)

Make an invite with a skill profile that we need, as design skills or content creators.
First share the invite on slack, if we don't get many responses to share on social media (with a cool image)

  • Ideas for the content creators:

    • Share content about python

      for example libraries, fields

    • What is the PSF

    • How to get started with python/pyladies

    • Maud (Paris Organizer) idea "packaging of common resources for the PyLadies community I think it could be a good idea to add something in a starter kit"

We could start with the template for the translations
Banners for an event would be cool, but maybe we should contact a designer

When will we post about the global council?

    • first, ask the global council about the blog announce
    • goal: Post on 06/21
    • 1st post: what is the global council
    • 5 posts to describe each workgroup
    • 9 posts to introduce each global council member

Ask Infratech if we have the pyladies local chapters' contact (eg. email, organizer email) so we can invite women to help in the team and also be in touch with them.

Post with our "visual identity" for test. (link)
