• Password manager: Phyllis looking into sharing the PSF's 1Password account with Pyladies so we don't have to pay extra
  • give Phyllis the email addresses of people who should have access to the pyladies vault (a thread in globaladvisors slack channel)
  • basically, socal and infra folks
• PyLadies Conference
  • Call for Proposals to be released soon
  • Mariatta asking Phyllis for help with paying for Pretalx
• Should we move away from Twitter/X?
  • currently have: linkedin, facebook, twitter, instagram
  • mastodon? bluesky? threads?
  • lynn, bethany, tania: for moving off of twitter
  • open source tends to use fosstodon
    • con: can only publish stuff in english
    • let's choose another server
  • PSF pays for a managed instance (OSI - https://masto.host/)
  • we could run our own, or maybe share PSF's setup, use managed setup for $19/month (https://masto.host/)
    • could support all chapters
    • could configure to cross-post to other networks
    • con: have to moderate ourselves
      • prob not too much work if integrated with slack
