While writing the notebook for the gallery, I noticed some "interesting" behaviour. When plotting in both light and dark mode, the dark mode figure was larger than the light mode figure.
Matplotlib supports composing styles we could think about adding such a functionality as well.
I feel like after calling pf.plot.utils.use or pf.plot.contextpyfar plots should follow the set style as well.
I think I will tackle these things, #540 and our other ticker-related things sometime after DAGA.
