I have a PDF file that I woul like to compress according to DICOM standards, but I'm having trouble finding an algorithm to do this. I tried using compress(RLELossless) from pydicom, as it was the simplest and best way i found, but it can only compress DICOM files.
I was wondering if it works on raw data, I don't know how to do this yet, but would it be possible to convert the PDF to raw data bytes and then compress it with pydicom method?
