Hi, Is there a way to create UIDs in a reproducible way? I could use an RNG with a seed, but perhaps pydicom provides a way to do this out of the box? Best, |

The generate_uid() function may be suitable for your needs |

Thanks for your answer! I guess the entropy_srcs makes it reproducible? If I use, say, a pseudonym of the patient ID, I will get the same IDs in every run. That's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks again! |
