Current behavior

The graphs in the project do not have consistent behavior:

  • Some areas the graphs have no hover effects, other areas they do. This should be uniform
  • Switching between investments has a very long animation transition between lines, it makes the app appear slow. I suggest this should be snappy
  • In a lot of SaaS graphs I've seen, they use a trailing gradient color effect under their line charts and I really like that design, I'd like to see badget adopt that as well
  • Add more interesting chart types such as a sankey chart, it would be really cool to see a breakdown of income into taxes, rent, food, and others
  • Drill down options: for the categories pie chart for example, if I select the food category I want to see a drill down view of groceries, restaurants, delivery, etc
  • Advanced chart features should be considered, such as select to zoom, expand chart, take screenshot, etc

Suggested solution

I would like to take this on please!
