Hi Guys,

My client is running r754 of ProjectSend, I've looked at the updating process and it seems very simple, but will it work for such an old version?

Or, should we update to each release, one by one?

I'm new to project send so any help would be very welcome.

David

Since nobody has replied, I would suggest making a backup of the DB and files and try to upgrade to the latest version. In the worst case, you'll just use your backup.

Indeed, the upgrade should take care of the db step by step.
There is a big leap in versions from where you are now, so if it fails somehow, maybe try going to an older one and moving from there one by one.

Thanks guys,

Actually, I was more thinking of duplicating the site on a new server, run the upgrade and then update php.

So you agree, update to incrementally rather than trying to update to the very latest.

Do you know which version started supporting php 8.x?
